Saturday is going to be sunny with a high of 96 and Welton is the place to be. We’re celebrating @ninaloveselections 50th in a big way. Two parties, two locations, and an awesome lineup of DJs mixing it up. Myself, @dj_a_l_ , and @destinyshynelle will be rocking at @spangalangbrewery for The Warm Up : Hip-Hop Day Party . Across the street DJ Nina, @kdjabove , Destiny Shynelle, Mytu, and Spellbinder will be rocking at @marigolddenver for Love Selections. Our friends at @thepreservatory.life will be in the place as well! All of it free. 4PM to 9PM. 27th and Welton St (Five Points).

Shout out to @jacobhornsled on a 🔥 photo exhibit, longtime supporter @c1_of_foodchain with a long overdue Solution music performance 🎤, and special guest @deejaylove303🎚️ . Can’t wait to be back this Friday June 7th with a special performance from @iamkaylamarque , guest dj set from birthday girl @mimiv303 , and a pop up merch booth from @ralanwrites . Excited to rock at the Hype House Party this Saturday with the legendary @shortkut (of legendary Beat Junkies / Invisible Skratch Piklz). It’s gonna be full on house party vibes with all your favorite songs at @thebansheehouse which is an amazing intimate venue right on the block. The Solution has always been about good music and community. I always want to use whatever platform I have to help my friends pursue their passions in life just like the many people that have helped me. I’m excited for Friday because it’s a chance to showcase the photo works of new friends like @j_kam_r & @nanz_gunderson and also highlight the musical work of long time friends @cam_shaw115 & @colfax96 as well as continue to promote the important work of @thepreservatory.life . And of course you know we’ll still be playing the best in Hip-Hop, R&B, and more like we always do! Party starts at 9pm at @ftgreenebar . Started the year off hibernating, taking a DJ break, and staying off the socials for a bit. Nevertheless, it always feels good to get behind the decks and thankful to still love DJing. Shout out to the people in Q1 of 2024 who hooked it up and gave me the opportunities to play music for people. Thanks @djlowkey @deejaylove303 @djluckyiam3.0 & @dj_a_l_ . Got some fun events coming with @gdnss this Sunday 3/24 and then I’ll be back rocking at @denversolution Friday 4/12.

Spring is around the corner & Goodness Spring Trai

Spring is around the corner & Goodness Spring Training is almost here! Goodness returns to Denver for the first time in 2024 with @djlowkey , myself, and @destinyshynelle + a fun surprise guest to round things out.

@gdnss will be returning to Finn’s Manor! Not only does Finn’s have a ridiculously cool vibe, a wonderful drink selection and great staff, but they’ve also got a covered patio and heaters to make sure the weather isn’t an issue (knocks on wood).

On a related note, after keeping the cover at $10 for a decade despite inflation and rising costs, Goodness is going to be switching to a ticketed system for this season and making some pricing changes. There will still be complimentary entry to the party for the first 50 folks with a Goodness button or email. Pre-sales to the party will be $15 until the day of the event, then $20 via pre-sale (guaranteeing entry) or at the door. Ticket link in my bio

I was in a zone those days and went extra hard with a special 80s set that was super fun. This weekend marks 17 Years of The Solution, a party started by @djlowkey & Sounds Supreme (Rest in Power). It’s a party that has lasted through multiple eras of Denver nightlife, venues, and decades. The list of guest DJs is endless but at the end of the day it all comes back to community. A community that supports quality music and fun parties. Pictured are two of my favorite parties including our 2020 Roller Skating Anniversary party (prepandemic) and our 2019 J Dilla Tribute party with @stroelliot and @skillzva .
